La punta della Piancaccia è un piccolo rilievo che si erge lungo il sentiero alto del Generoso (16), alla confluenza con il sentiero Arogno-Generoso (11).
Facilmente raggiungibile dai sentieri dona ai suoi visitatori un panorama meraviglioso sul lago Ceresio. Alla sua sommità è presente un cippo di confine, infatti la Piancaccia delimita il confine di stato fra Svizzera e Italia.

The Piancaccia peak is a small rise on the upper Generoso trail (16), where it meets the Arogno – Monte Generoso trail (11).
Easily reached from the trails, it gives visitors a wonderful panorama over Lake Lugano. At the top stands a boundary stone: the Piancaccia in fact marks the state border between Switzerland and Italy.

Die Spitze der Piancaccia ist eine kleine Erhebung am oberen Generoso-Weg (16), dort, wo er auf den Wanderweg Arogno – Monte Generoso (11) trifft.
Von den Wegen aus leicht erreichbar, schenkt sie ihren Besuchern ein wunderbares Panorama über den Luganersee. Auf ihrem Gipfel steht ein Grenzstein: Die Piancaccia markiert nämlich die Staatsgrenze zwischen der Schweiz und Italien.
